Refund Policy

We offer a free trial so you can evaluate Upaj before paying. Once you subscribe, fees are generally non-refundable since you have continuous access to the platform. However, we believe in being fair — if something goes wrong on our end, we will make it right.

1. Free Trial

Upaj offers a free trial period for new users. No payment is required to start a trial. We encourage you to fully evaluate the platform during this period before committing to a paid plan.

2. Subscription Fees

All subscription fees are billed in advance (monthly or annually) and are non-refundable once the billing cycle has begun. You will continue to have access to the platform for the remainder of your paid billing period, even if you cancel before it ends.

3. When We Will Issue a Refund

We may issue a full or partial refund at our discretion in the following circumstances:

  • Duplicate charge: If you were charged more than once for the same billing period due to a technical error.
  • Extended downtime: If the platform experiences unplanned downtime exceeding 72 continuous hours, you may request a pro-rata credit or refund for the affected period.
  • Billing error: If you were charged after cancelling your subscription before the renewal date, and the cancellation was confirmed by our system or support team.
  • First payment within 7 days: If you subscribed to a paid plan and request a refund within 7 days of your first payment, and you have not substantially used the platform during that period, we will issue a full refund. This applies to first-time subscribers only.

4. When Refunds Are Not Available

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  • Change of mind after the 7-day window for first-time subscribers
  • Downgrading from a higher plan to a lower plan mid-cycle (you retain access to the higher plan until the end of the billing period)
  • Failure to use the platform during a paid billing period
  • Violation of our Terms and Conditions resulting in account suspension or termination
  • Annual plan cancellations after the 7-day window (you retain access until the end of the annual period)

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact us at support@upaj.com with:

  • Your registered email address
  • The reason for your refund request
  • The transaction or invoice reference, if available

We will review your request and respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.

6. Plan Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by emailing support@upaj.com. Upon cancellation:

  • Your access continues until the end of the current billing period
  • No further charges will be applied
  • After the billing period ends, your account will be moved to a limited/free tier or suspended, as applicable
  • You will have 30 days after account closure to request a data export (see our Terms and Conditions, Section 18)

7. Price Changes

If we increase subscription prices, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance. The new price will apply from your next billing cycle. If you do not wish to continue at the revised price, you may cancel before the next cycle begins without penalty.

8. Taxes

All refunds are processed on the base subscription amount. GST or other taxes charged on the original transaction will also be refunded proportionally where applicable.
